Steve Achord’s personal collection of stories and essays from memories from his childhood in Patterson, Louisiana and of family members no longer with him. Achord’s father, the Rev. Arthur Achord, plays a prominent role in these playful and nostalgic stories. Each slightly varies in tone and structure but are threaded together by Achord’s peering into his memory and grappling with what they mean to him now. To be continued.
